As we have been discussing WWI, ethical qustions have seem to come up throughout our discussions. I would like as many of you to comment on the following thought: Should Christians fight in war? Why or why not.

ReplyDeleteIn the Bible it say to not kill. I think it is wrong to kill even in self defense. And it would not be self defense to join the Army because you sign up to kill people. It is not right for a Christian [ or anyone else ] to kill people. I would not kill someone thats for sure.

No I don't think that Christians should kill in any way. But, to go to war, I think that you should pray about it and ask God if He wants you to go or not. Or if you have to make a quick decision then ask God to have you make the right decision.

I think I would feel bad to kill someone because if they had a family their family would miss them teribly

I think war is okay for anyone do you agree?
ReplyDeleteWe love God but that doesn't mean we can't fight for our country. I personaly think killing people is bad but if he or her is killing other people you have every right to kill them.

I think it is okay for Christians to fight in war. In the Bible God says do not kill or murder,but if the people on the other side want to kill you why can't you defend the country that God has given us?

I think that it is okay to go to war and fight. I think that because you are serving your country and fighting to protect your people otherwise they would die. I think that you shouldn't kill to just kill someone. I think that their should be a good reason to killand that you shouldn't start the fight.
